A couple of days ago I lost my brother. Neither of us would be considered young but I haven't seen him in six years...his choice, and I was taken by surprise when I heard he was in the hospital in very bad shape. I didn't didn't get to see him before he passed.

I've had a difficult time processing the loss.

We never know how our words might touch someone. We don't consider that we might be involved in the delivery of much needed succor. Thank You for this article in general and in particular for your blessings at the end of the piece. Your words and the genuineness of them allowed me to let the grief in and release it as well. I know there will be more waves of grief to be dealt with but for now, thanks to you, I get to spend some time dwelling on the fond memories.
